Rad Child with 1st rank of radiation poisoning heals your character 2HP per second which means that you actually heal throughout the DLC including inside the fog.
I managed to escape with all the gold bars, and I couldn't manage selling all them, traveling to a select few vendors that couldn't even cover one was so sad.
Notification appear at 20+ level, grind a couple of level to get my repair 95 (stewei tweak cap my skill because I have too small penis to pump 10 INT and I can't have 0 Luck, but I'd like to emphasize my spectacular ass, my wife can attest to that) and 2 more level to pump science to hack.
It was a lot easier because now I understand the key to clear out *every* *single* *ghosties* without *a* *scracth*.
1. Dog.
2. Holorifle.
Dog can clean the entire outside level, just bring him everywhere to the place where you gotta put the entire scooby doo gang to do their job to triggering the gay (based) club building.
The first place you should visit to make it even easier is the building where you gotta brought Christine, pump the vent, and the Napalm Gas from Vietnam will go kapoof (in most places, where the goodies at).
HOW.
HOW?
HOW??!!!!
I dump my STR to 3, so my character cocc alone took 50% of the weight.
Yeah just look up youtube videos on how to do it.
But if your a non combat character its a huge pain to just run around and die instantly to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ traps. Also it is super unrewarding, all the items are just worse than vanilla items.
I have to disagree.
Holorifle, blast the living shat out of the bear bulls cocc man at the nuke shack in the divide -- in 1 clip. 3 shots against the skirt wearing man at the opposite side of the dam.
I mean, I got 19 unarmed and 30 sneak, I literally just take dog walking around the entire area without doing anything.
During the escape from the tower, Holorifle practically melt every single ghosties until I made it into the Sierra Madre.
So yep, Holorifle alone, make the hassle kind of worth it.

Quartermaster Barton, Gun Runners Vendertron and the Great Khan Armorer have the inventories for it though.
But if you finished the dlc early in the game that would be great boost to inventory.
With any DLC, it is best enjoyed with a high end character, or with specialized skill focuses with implants or perks. But Dead money is iffy as a extension of New Vegas because the core nature of the story "let go" only works if you survive it and know who you want to be. I only enjoyed it for wandering around a pristine old world daydream of what I assume is south American/TexMex designs with a hint of Arizona grace to them.
I love the haunting story and how the ending can impact the future ending of the main game, but Dead money is just a reminder to players about the need to let go. But I mostly played it for the recipes and items I would horde using carry weight mods. There is just something nostaglic about collecting coins and using them to buy materials from the vending machines.
Dead money is a story about a world that is dead but alive, I enjoy that because when your exploring the mojave and trying to level up while avoiding to much heat from factions....society gets boring. Dead money is great because its a stealth survival situation that you can control the pace a bit more. But its flawed. Very. Messy. Absolutely. But interesting.
