4gb patcher

downlkoaded the 4gb patch, and fnv still only uses like 1gb of ram. i really need it to use more because my fps is severely unstable. any ideas on how to fix?

The game will only use what it needs, if its only using 1 then it thas how much it needs.

The 4gb patch doesn't *make* the game use more RAM, it allows it to use more than 2gb without instantly crashing.

The 4gb patch has never, ever improved framerate. I don't even know where you even would have gotten that information.

1050ti, i7 7700hq, 12gb ram. i run usuallt at medium settings on fnv

well that PC can easily run at ultra settings no problem, try to use a guide to mod FNV if possible i also recommend using Mod Organizer 2 although vortex is fine.
to install the 4gb patch put it into your games directory and run it, get xNVSE and use the tick fix mod on the nexus heres some links

Also update your graphics drivers, preferably using Geforce Experience but you choose.
Im using a 6700XT, 32gb ram, 3700x and i just had to refine the game in settings and ini files, its a process but once you understand modding FNV you can pretty much mod any game
