Not leveling up

I got 100 xp while in a scripted event and the level up screen never came up, there are no enemies, and I've tried everything from waiting to entering a different cell to opening a container, nothing works, it just shows me having something like 70000/60000 XP. Is there any way to force the game to level me up?

there should be console commands to change ur xp, so you should put 1 below the level up step, get 1+ xp and you should level up. if you want to be extra legit you can add the difference later (that roughly 10k for ezample)
I dont know the codes to the top of my head, but with this info you should find console commands for fnv

Alright, I used player.advlevel, seemed to work. Dunno if that has any adverse effects.

it should disable achievements for the rest of the playthrough. There should be mods to avoid that if you care.

many, but they're all mods I've used before, and it only started happening at level 15, during the scripted sequence when I didn't have control over my character

Might wanna take another look at that mod; if you've got this[www.nexusmods.com] one installed, take another look through the readme to make sure you've got a related option set to something other than 1. :P

When I was messing with it the last time, I accidentally set the level cap to 1 instead of 99 like I intended. :S
