I entered the Dead Money DLC before beating the game
Is there literally NO way for me to play the regular game/the mohave without starting a new game!?

You could relolad the save to before you went in.
If you changed your mind, just reload to before starting the DLC and continue from there. The main game progress hasn't changed since you started the DLC so, you can put it down to having a trial run at Dead Money if you want to look at it like that?

Just finish the dlc then you make it back to the main game.

Also you can't play after you beat the main game story, so you have to do the dlc before you beat the game.

Just enjoy it, you'll be back in the Mojave soon. If you really want to get back, use that as your motivation to beat the dlc and outsmart Elijah

My save is all in 1, so my last save IS dead money dlc, and Im at the end of it, I figured it would send me back after the end like the others but NOPE my character dies and i just reload to right before ending the DLC

It doesnt, when I finish it just kills me, Im stuck in some vault with a ♥♥♥♥ ton of gold and no way out
oh dear :/
Don't panic.. It's a very re-playable game anyway :)

Because you ended the dlc improperly. The game ends if you help Elijah or you open the computer file meant for Dean domino. Don't do either of those if you want to go back to the Mojave and end the dlc the "proper" way.

Don't open the accounting file, open the message for Vera and then after you leave the computer Elijah should contact you

okay, thank you. *Then spends 20 hours crawling to civilization with my like 6k pounds of gold*

You can either defeat Elijah or trap him in the vault and leave, but if you help Elijah then the game will also end and you get a different ending

so....is there a way to win the bald chick? like can I stuff her in my pocket and take her back with me? or do I lose all the gear I have when I leave?
psychotron666 Oct 22, 2017 @ 5:33pm
You get to keep all the gear but the npcs don't come with you
Ghostboy1556 Oct 22, 2017 @ 5:36pm
Rip. So how am I supposed to carry, my NEW gear, plus all my old gear, PLUS the gold I find (Which no vendor would even have enough caps to buy ONE of unless I buy from them first) to civilization!?

The bunker you initially enter becomes a place you can use as a base wuth crafting benches and storage and beds and even a vending machine and spawning Sierra Madre caps. You store some ♥♥♥♥ there and take what you can, coming back for it later

And the gun runners have 8000 caps for selling to and crimson caravan can have like 13000 caps to sell to . Medical clinic has 4000 caps too
