Stealth?????

Stealth used to be pretty good in this game but now I have 100 in stealth and the stealth suit mk 2 on while in the dark and enemies see me from a mile a way. I'm constantly being detected, did they nerf stealth like a mofo? Is the suit just a joke now? All this suit is now is a lighter version of the medic power armor.

With 100 stealth virtually no one should see you. Could be a glitch or something giving you a negative stealth for some reason (through a glitch, I've heard of these things before in these games and the elder scrolls games on the same engine).

yeah idk my stealth is so bad at 100 even sniping is pointless because they just run towards me from 3 miles away

Correction, the Stealth Suit mk2 is a lighter version of the medic power armour, with a much better voice. :P

What gun are you using? Also missing shots can cause a caution of them not looking for you but the spot where the bullet hit or landed

What enemies are they? Might be high PER enemies being a complete ♥♥♥♥.

Also, try using a stealth boy and see if there is still a problem. If so, then you have a glitch of some sorts.

I said nothing about shooting. I said my sneak is max with things pushing me well over 100 sneak. Everyone seems to see me from miles away with sneak bonuses and stealth at 100+. I know not using a silencer fks it up. I'm not shooting, they detect me from way far off when im sneaking in the shadows with 100 sneak and the stealth suit on. Moving slightly causes the "caution" and running in sneak within 10 sec causes "danger". By barely creeping about 300 yards away I get detected. It feels like I still have my sneak at 30 but it's actually 100 with multiple bonuses.

It was happening with the lobotomites and nightstalkers, cazadors, trama harness dudes. I know some of the stuff is scripted bullsh!t but I'm talking about losers walking around in the middle of nowhere just pacing back and forth. I haven't tried much in the new vegas area because I said fk it and just didn't use stealth anymore. I figured why should I they just find me anyway, might as well just rambo in there. The deathclaws in death wind cavern seem to discover me pretty easy too,
