Dragbody
Okay, recently I've been looking for a replacement for the FCO, I found all Dragbody's Overhaul collection, the mod is amazing, but throughout the game I've seen some problems, in many cases some NPC's totally lose their clothes or it's just a floating head.

I uninstalled the mod and looked for another one, but I really liked the redesigns of some characters that I just want to use only them and not the full mod, like Boone, Veronica, Doc Mitchell, No Bark and Papa Khan. The problem is that I don't know exactly which files and in Veronica's case I can't find them together with the others in the folder.

It will require quite a bit of work to use just those - they aren't simple replacers, they require a plugin in order to work. You'll need to learn a fair bit of modding in order to do that.

While I encourage people to learn modding when possible, it's also worth mentioning that drag's ported assets - while they look good - cause issues with the game.

Well, I thought this was going to be easier, but ok. Thanks for the tip, I'll try and see what I can do.

Most likely, you have a problem that the last modification was given one set of armor, and the new one was given another, which is why there were no clothes.

I also had a problem with the "flying heads" of the NCR redesign, the problem was solved by searching for an alternative modification.

In such topics, it is better to write the full list of active plugins, whether you have invalidation textures and everything else.

He's using the dragbody ported asset mods.

Those just have issues. The porting and rigging is top notch, the rest of the implementation is not.

You wouldn't happen to know how to import .dds files onto a custom race would you?

The texture (dds) files will need to match the mesh (nif) file for that to work.

I don't know if you can do that just in xEdit. Sorry, I'm just getting into the deeper folds of creating mods myself.

i personally don't recommend the mods that drag has posted on GUNetwork. They look incredible but for one they're often hard to set up and conflict with a ton of stuff and two many of them make certain characters look so good that their facial and body animations no longer match up so it straight up looks like you put a ton of makeup on something that looks really ugly. i personally recommend New Vegas Redesigned 3 Revised as it only requires Fallout Character Overhaul for its meshes and not only improves all of the characters but also certain wounded ones like the people that you have to operate on, dead bodies as well as crucified victims and it's also compatible with most body mods + has a ton of patches with the mods that it does conflict with
