You get over whatever weird hangup you have about mods and use mods because they aren't the devil or cheats or hard to install or whatever your hangup is.

Framerate limit the game via your graphics cards control panel to 64 FPS. I play vanilla as well, there's nothing wrong with running vanilla or with mods- it's your choice.

Don't use the Stutter Remover, it's super outdated and will cause crashes. The Tick Fix is the modern replacement that doesn't crash your game.

Obviously use a mod manager to make things easier especially if you plan on doing any proper modding.

Yes that's the whole point, all of them either provide some sort of valuable stability/ bugfix or lay the foundations for future modding as they're required by basically all mods. These are essentially the mods you should always have installed no matter what.

I just want to say I had not use stutter remove for over 5 years, but just recently I reinstalled it .Wow the world of change. Also it 100% used to crash on one of my old setups. hardware may play into it!
