Anti Material Rifle
I already have the NCR Veteran combat armor and cool helmet from the NCR Bunker area cause I got the key but I'm trying to find the Anti Material Rifle. In Particular I'm walking around Camp Golf looking for the NCR Ranger guy to pickpocket his rifle off of him but I can't find him anywhere? I thought he was supposed to walk around here at Camp Golf?

You may not be high enough level. When I killed them all, they just had low end weapons.

If looking for a reliable free drop, the crate in Courier's Mile has one, which is part of Lonesome Road.

Marked Men (also in Lonesome Road): Don't remember what level or area though, probably later in the DLC.

The GRA variant from Gun Runners accepts weapon modifications, costs less than 7k.

An alternative if needing something now, would be the Paciencia, at Novac vendor, but costs just under 12k. It is lighter, less skill and less strength requirement, same zoom but without scope wobble, and can use HP ammo; this is only a viable alternative if playing a high crit character though.

Ah okay thank you I will try and look for the crate in Courier's Mile because I'm too poor to buy one lol,

There are a few crates on the map, when I got my first AMR, it was just after the starting point, run straight down the road, look on the right side near a barber pole.

Probably not the best idea to go to lonesome road without at least something as good as the AMR. I suggest just buying it and you'll have the mods that make it even better.

Making money is easy. Sell whatever you're not using. Even low value items add up quick. You can also make a bunch of money at the casinos or by playing caravan (if you have the patience to learn that game). Naughty Nightwear+Lucky Shades+Luck Implant will give +3 bonus Luck and can land you into breaking the bank at all the casinos.

Also, if you sneak kill an NPC with a silent weapon (melee or silenced guns), nobody will know it's you even if they are right next to the killing. I always just kill every respawning NPC I come across for loot. You can probably get the AMR that way.

This is a great idea. Until Courier's Mile is unlocked, you'll have some serious fighting to do. Once it is unlocked, the chest can be reached sneakily, without combat.

I ended up just buying it from the Gun Runners, I have really good Bartering and Charisma in game so I've just gotten back to selling stuff again. My sneak isn't that good and I try to avoid most conflicts in game if I can cause somehow my character is idolised and ranked as a saint lol. As for Caravan though if it's anything like Poker I can learn it, I also already have the Naughty Nightwear I just have to get the lucky shades and the.. luck implant lmao if it only that was real
Luck Implant is real. It's basically the Intense Training perk but pre-designated to a certain S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat. It's all at the New Vegas medical clinic, though they're all really expensive (4000 caps for a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat implant).

Lucky Shades are in the Legion Safe house. You get a key to the building once you are at least in "Liked" status by the Legion.

Caravan's really nothing like poker, and not like any other game I've played. Rules that are explained in-game are really unclear, so might wanna look at a guide online instead. You can make thousands of caps playing it though.

Caesar's Legion actually vilifies me lmao so I may have to explode some heads and break an entering to get those sunglasses. Also the implants being expensive isn't a problem at all for me in fact I wanted to ask a quick question. Do merchants in the game ever regenerate money back over time or no? Cause I've made a good number of them go broke from selling them stuff (Also yeah I'll check out a Caravan guide online thank you).
The vendors restock their caps and inventory twice per week on Sunday and Wednesday. 72 and 96 hours respectively. When you go to the safe house, I believe you'll be locked out with a "requires key" prompt thing, and the character who gives the key to you (Lucius) doesn't carry it in his inventory, so if you want in the safehouse, you'll have to use console commands by clicking on the door and typing in "unlock"

Aw darn okay :/ I don't like resorting to commands but sometimes I gotta lol cause I don't think I'll be able to come anywhere near Lucius if I'm vilified by the Legion

Pretty sure all merchants restock every three days not just Wednesday and Sundays but yes you cannot enter the safe house while vilified, you can do as suggested an console the door open or add the glasses to your inventory (Like I do because i don't wanna join the legion). Either way you decide to do it remember to save close out your game then restart otherwise you won't get any achievements for that session.

Nope. This three day thing has been disproven.

I'm not sure if this idea will work while vilified, but to gain favor with Legion, give NCR dog tags to Aurelius of Phoenix and Decanus Severus at Cottonwood Cove. Not sure if disguises work on those two, but if so, disguise up and earn favor with them. Dog tags can be gotten by stealth killing NCR soldiers without losing karma and faction rank, if not caught.

This is definitely worth a try. I didn't think of that. Though if you've gotten you're position with the Legion by progressing the story far enough, you'll be hard-locked out. Incidentally, if you haven't been to the Tops and confronted Benny yet, you won't have to go through any of this trouble because your relation with the Legion will reset.

If the tops is the big shiny city area with the tower and casinos then yes I've been there but I haven't confronted Benny yet, I'm level 24 and just doing a bunch of side missions and collecting cool stuff and goofing around I haven't done a story mission since 2018. I've gotten my position with the Legion so far through mostly side missions and the NCR love me so idk if my relation with the Legion will reset or not.
