im stuck in doc mitchell bed, the dialogue never start. i need help

My advice would be to disable all the mods then re enable them one by one launching the game to test each one. It can be tedious but it is the best way to find out what is going on.

this happened to me once and I sped up the game and somehow it fixed it. Its the game speed console command, I think the command is something like "sgtm #" without the quotes and obviously the # is a number above 1. Try it, it worked for me.

Dunno bout you, but I just reloaded my game about 3-4 times and it fixed itself, somehow.
I guess I was just having a bethesda moment.

I'm having the same problem. What is weird because I used the same mod list in a playthrough and this never happened.
Did you solved it? And if you did, what caused the problem?

had this same issue, i disabled the mod Nevada Skies and it fixed it for me, not sure what a weather mod has to do with the start of the game, but that worked for me

Can confirm this is the mod that was causing issues. Wow, pretty surenit tells you to only use it from a clean save too 🤔

AYE I FIXED IT
Apparently the opening scene of New Vegas gets bonked if you don't have an audio device plugged in? Maybe this has something to do with a mod we both installed like YUP or maybe even NVSE as I never noticed this when playing 100% vanilla but I plugged my headphones in and Doc started talking again!
