Kill all the factions

Can I kill the factions instead of joining them? I don't really like any of them. I feel like the NCR are too selfish and they won't do anything unless It's something in it for them - even at the beginning when you go to Primm, you get stopped by an NCR who tells you the town is ran by convicts and they can't do anything because It's out of their jurisdiction. The Legions are too brutal.

I don't think there's anything stopping you but there won't be much left to do except side quests.

Edit: I assumed you meant killing EVERYONE in a faction. :)

Yes, You can play the "Wildcard" route or work for Mr.House.

You can, yes man is the only failsafe in the game.

You can, including the brotherhood, the boomers, the great khans, etc. there are almost no essential NPCs in this game, you can kill pretty much anything and anyone including leaders of factions. Yes Man is always an option though, cannot get rid of him if you wanted to.

You can kill every single faction , even YESMAN if you use a plasma weapon achiving a crit , this however softlocks the game and the only solution is to use console commands or make a new character

you can follow mister house, or go the wildcard option of yes man, and take over the strip for yourself and wipe the other factions off the map if you wish to do so

You can kill everyone. Except kids, but hey, that just proves that the Mick and Ralph crier is actually just God's earthly form.

That's nothing to do with them being selfish, it's that they're straight up not allowed to interfere with the affairs of an independent town without an invitation from the town itself. Later in that quest you can get the people of Primm to invite the NCR in and the NCR protect it.

If you're feeling a bit cannibalistic, you can go for the "Meat of the Champions" challenge - eat Mr House, President Kimball, Caesar and the King and you'll get a perk that temporarily increases your STR, LUCK, INT & CHA stats by 1 for 60 seconds when you eat any human corpse.

Hey, if you're killing everyone - might as well eat them too, right?
