[troubleshooting] the frontier mission: a bridge too far troubleshooting, "fix the tank" ; Repair Lance critical hit causes an "immortal" error.
Each time in the frontier mission "A bridge too far" when I have to fix a tank, the repair thermal lance ends up damaging the tank because somehow I am scoring critical hits on it; it restores to full health but parts of it become crippled and fall off like the tank is shedding it's skin.

I can only assume this is because I am critically hitting it multiple times, which keeps it's health at maximum, strips off old crippled parts, puts new parts on fully healed and is making scrap underneath the treads, thus making "a bridge too far" come to a screeching halt.

Does anyone know a console command to advance past the marker for "fixing" the tank? Cause all I'm doing is making a bunch of scrap under the tank that indefinitely stalls it.

I would recommend, if the mod devs are reading this, to make the repair lance do no damage at all, regardless of the players perks or skills by making the damage be multiplied by zero, so that the repair lance is ALWAYS dealing zero percent damage.

I know this is way late but might help someone in the future:
The issue was my damage multiplier (I think). Set the difficulty from very hard to very easy and it worked.
It's important that the first missile from the Scav on the building hits the tank and that its health goes down. Then a line of dialogue will appear and say something along the lines of 'our engine is shot'.
Should work from there.
To be safe, stay close to the tank and go through this part of the quest quickly.
