There are no more nightkin in the basement!
I think I got rid of all of the nightkin in the basement, but the mission doesn't seem to end! I don't want to reload a new save just to get rid of the bug, what do I do!?

No! Was he in the jail portion of the area, because if so then it appears he never spawned!

No, he is in separate room almost at the beginning of the basement. Try walking around the basement once more.

ok, perhaps I will take another look! please tell me the leader is a different color other than blue, or looks a certain way so that I can tell him apart!

I don't remember for sure, but I'd say he doesn't look different. He is located in a room with a table and a brahmin skull on it.

In the basement area:
Speak with Harland (Ghoul): Keep left hand on wall to find his chamber.
Speak with Davison* (Nightkin leader): From Harland, keep left hand on wall, find D's room.
Do their quests, then kill them afterwards, since they will vanish from the world soon anyway
Kill the other Nightkin before thay vanish from game also.

*If you killed a Nightkin that has a skull for a friend, or looted anything like a key with his name on it, or a Bumper Sword is in your inventory, then you killed him already.

That's the beauty of the game, you don't have to do it. You can just go into Manny Vargas room and get the information from his computer and bypass the quest entirely.

Or you can just kill all the ghouls and nightkin.
Or you can kill the ghoul Harland to get to the computer to get the nightkin to leave.

Or you can kill the nightkin and report back to bright.

Yeah the one time I didn't look online lol

What I really wanna know is if the manhole cover to the rocket area is open from the start. Then I could really sneak up on some fellas

It just felt like the keys I got didn't do much (one I noticed let me find the ghoul's dead friend I didn't even realize)

But I will say the 8 or so stealth boys I looted sure come in handy when I wanna rob a place blind. They pay for themselves
