( for example if you go with NCR, all legion members disappear and some NCR rangers are hunting legion straggles). If you plan to use FPGE you should also use its sister mod: The Living Desert which adds tons of event in the wasteland both before and after the ending, you know to make it less dead. Modded quests should work well with this mod. Also, imo the DLC will not make sense if you play them after the ending.
My apologies for speed reading. Last year I played FGPE and it was pretty dead by itself because I did all the quests beforehand. The only things left were really what the mod brought as well as stuff from The Living Desert mod. While I absolutely adore FGPE I think it shows how structurally different NV is to say, Fallout 3 or 4. NV is going to feel dead after completing the final battle since all roads pretty much lead to it. Once that is accomplished you don't see much activity. It's an awesome way to see how your actions shaped the world, but I wouldn't bank on speading loads of hours in the post-dam world.
I'm not too worried about lack of things to do post game anymore, there's tons of mod quests, unique weapons to gather, DLC content, and I'm even running TTW so if I really wanted to take my current character that far, there's a whole other wasteland. My main concerns were whether mods or DLC were still accessible after the main game, and it seems like they will be.
Gotta say, I'm glad this mod exists. The idea of losing access to quests after the dam and getting to see the effect the Courier will have has made me think more on my characters choices and focus on content I usually skipped before, closest I can get to experiencing the game like it's the first time again.
