Can someone give me a rundown on the Frontier Drama?

Can someone give me a quick rundown on the drama? I'm asking here because I know if I asked this in their server those losers would insta ban me, like they did to many many people who criticize the mod. The bits I know are how they act like spoiled children whenever anybody criticizes the mod. I also know they got strangely angry and even political when people said they like the Enclave (and legion in some cases) and that always came off pathetic and childish to me, but I always said "well the devs can be a bit lame and still make a good product" and distanced them from it. But now I'm hearing about pedo stuff. Can someone give me a comprehensive timeline? I know, 7 years is a lot, but I would very much like to hear an in depth explanation. Feel free to link me someplace if you know a better area to look.

There was some backlash after release because of the writing and some fetishised and otherwise controversial content in the mod. Some examples are the ability to enslave a teenage female character called America, a society of sexualized lizard people, and the ability to ♥♥♥♥ a deathclaw through some very cringy dialogue. People also critizised the story, which treats the courier as a demigod, and the gameplay itself, which plays much like a CoD clone for a good part of the main quest.

A few days ago, it was discovered that one of the developers had been posting animated pedophilic content to one of his personal art accounts. The rest of the team were quick to condemn this and ban the person, and the mod was hidden from Nexus while the team discussed how to proceed. After this things just sort of fell apart. Several team members including the project lead cut ties with the project, artists and voice actors requested their contributions be removed from the mod, and their Discord server was raided by 4chan users.

The current status, as far as I know, is that they are working to remove all the content made by the developer accused of pedophilia, as well as content that other people requested be removed. How well this is going, and whether we are ever going to have the mod available for download again, I'm not able to say.

That was the quick version from someone who has not played the mod yet and don't have any opinion on it one way or the other.

Looking around, the story and dialogue seems like it's very cringe. I don't know where 7 years went with this kind of writing.

The dev team sexualise minors, are fans of antifa (and assume the Enclave are fascist, refusing to let players join them while being fine with the Legion due to gold-medal worthy mental gymnastics) and banned and harassed anyone who pointed out their glorious mod might not be all that great during development.
They also clearly have no idea what made NV good, since the mod itself is a poorly written wannabe Wolfenstein with NO CHOICES.

Basically, they're just asses and got what was coming to them. In a way it's a shame though, seven years could have made one hell of a mod, instead we got Fallout: Hunt Down The Courier.
