TTW Stealth kills
Do stealth kills in the Capital Wasteland work just the same as in New vegas?
Basically do they hurt your reputation if you kill named people/slightly important people or do they let you do it without a problem as long as you're hidden and using a silenced weapon?
(TTW: Tale of Two Wastelands)

There is no reputation in Fo3 only Karma but unlike NV the truly important NPCs cannot even be killed. Were New Vegas has as far as I can tell has no essential NPCs beyond a few kids Fo3 has quite a few.

Oh no, i know that, i mostly meant it as can i stealth kill someone from, say, rivet city, who isn't essential, and while being stealthy, and they won't care?
Or will they all instantly start shooting?
If i remember right this was a thing they changed in fallout new vegas, but with TTW i'm not sure if it was brought over.

The game is using the improvements from NV whether you are in the Capitol Wasteland or not, so yes a sneak attack should not alert anybody.

Well, "Should".
I'll test it out later and let anyone know through looking up the post

I only say "should" because I have not tried, I don't have TTW installed at the moment either.

Well, there's no need, i did two tests with some outcasts i found, one test i was hidden and shot at their protectron with a laser rifle, they aggroed on me after.
Second test, shot them with a silenced 10mm pistol and they weren't aggro, so yeah, that's cool.
I guess you can commit silent genocide in this mod too just for a few caps.
you can actually stealth kill enemies and it won't affect your karma or faction rep. Earliest test is with the powder gangers taking out their leader with a silenced gun. It's tbh only certain scripted events or high ranked faction members like killing Caesar there is 100% no way to kill and run away without being seen.

i think you misunderstood the whole thread, this is about Tale of two wastelands, basically FNV and Fallout 3 put together, and i'm talking about the fallout 3's side of things, and yeah, you'll still be hurt by karma if you kill one of the "good guys", but they won't know, and they won't care if you start parading their body in front of them.
