Perk every level?
I never really cared to have a perk every level but was thinking about it in my new playthrough since a mod I'm using has the option. Some players say it's too overpowered. Idk if I really buy that however. While in Fallout 3, sure a perk every level was overpowered af, but that was only cuz like half the perks in that game were skill bonuses.

So what are your thoughts? Do you like how NV changed the perk interval?

Perk every two level is already OP AF if you know what kind of Terminator you want by level 30...

Every other level feels good to me. There are often a couple extra situational/flavor perks I wish I could fit into a build, but I never feel like I'm having to choose between essential perks to make a build work. I generally pick a lot of utility perks and level my weapon skills last, and I still tend to feel at least a little overpowered in vanilla.

I did the whole perk-every-level thing with Jsawyer's mod for a bit. It's not too bad if you're doing a Logan's Run level 30 character, but if you have the DLC's and are pushing for 50 you start to run out of useful perks and just start taking.... whatever. Like really, perks that 99.9999% of players never use (lead belly, seriously?) just to get rid of the Select Perk screen.

It was too long ago but fallout 3 was the same, wasn't it?

Perk every level is OP. Tried it once and never again. Perk every 2 levels keeps one on one's toes and provides something to look forward to and seriously think about when the time comes.

Giving out a goodie bag every time gets so boring and invariably causes that meh factor to come in too quickly. Oh wow, another level, another perk, oh I don't think I'll bother this time, oh eff, I have to, decisions. decisions, won't this game just gi'me a break? I wanna play not keep making all these effing decisions, oh I can't decide, I'll play something else...
