Mouse 1 won't bind to attack
So ive played fnv for a while and one time i booted up the game and attack was unbound. I tried to bind it to mouse 1, but it would bind to every other button except mouse 1. I've verified the games cash and reinstalled the game so im not sure what to do.

Why did you feel like it would be necessary to necro-post an over 7 years old post from the past?

What are the chances that you will get your answer for doing that, especially from the individuals who originally posted their own issue-regarding post from 7 years ago?

Why couldn't you just make your own separate discussion post instead?

Wouldn't you be irritated to see someone just randomly greets you on the street, talking you about how he thinks the same as your college report that you don't remember you've made one?
Uh dude, I just starting having this problem. I saw discussions talking about something similar, tried everything the responses said and it didn't work. I Don't know what you mean by "necro-post" but if your familiar with this issue please tell me how to fix it. have a nice day.

Why do you feel it necessary to whine what someone does on another game's forum? As for OP, I think the changing bindings menu has an option to reset to default. Try that first to see if it binds left mouse to attack, and then rebind whatever you may have bound your keys to. Additionally I've read that either loading an older save before you had the issue, or opening the pipboy and moving the mouse around it before closing can also fix it.
Thank you, that didnt work but i found out i was only having the bug inside of doc mitchels house for some reason. tysm

Because I usually ask a question as of 'why' when I witness anything inexplicable.

I thought I was the only one. I had my binding for Mouse Button 3 (the right mouse button) repeatedly get wiped clean from the settings about twenty times over 270 hours.

Yeah, this game has a weird bug where it will spontaneously remove bindings. Apparently it only happens for actions bound to mouse buttons though.

Update: happened to me three times today. Yup, still hasn't been fixed.
