Problem with NCR rangers not showing up and radio not resetting after 24 hours?
So I've tried the NCR emergency radio and it seems unable to reset, plus the ranger I call never comes. I called one before and dismissed them after summoning supplies, but now it doesn't work anymore. How do I fix this?

Is your reputation still positive?

Yes, its 'idolized'. I've tried reloading save and everytime I call the ranger nobody comes plus the radio never resets. Only the trooper comes or the supplies now.

I've also worn NCR ranger armor sometimes because I like the way it looks and its good.

This is from the bugs section of the NCR emergency radio wiki page:
Sometimes after dismissing a support Ranger, they can be found at Camp McCarran and talking to them will result in the Ranger joining your party again. It becomes impossible to dismiss them through the radio after this.
It has been found that for some users, the radio will never recharge after use and many aspects of the radio seem to function poorly. This is caused by the glitch that makes the NCR Ranger/trooper you called in respawn. To fix this glitch find and talk to the trooper/Ranger causing them to follow you. They can be found in the area where they died. This procedure will need to be repeated every several days.
It sounds like it's not really worth the trouble imo. I haven't had great experiences with the radio myself the few times I've used it.

Yeah only thing is that I dismissed them so they aren't at the camp or won't show up there. I did travel across several locations with them before dismissing but can't remember where.

Is there a specific ref ID for that ranger so I can go to them?

I'm doing an NCR quest or battle where I have to help wipe out a legion camp. Its nice to have them.

Because you're NOT using proper radio phonetics. You must say "Confirm echos at hotel Juliet Oscar Romeo Sierra Entertainment doing the tango under the Umbrella in November while sipping whiskey. Have you seen Roger? Confirm please, is he up, over or out?

From what I understand, I believe you need the particular NPC in front of you to get the ref ID, and the ref ID is needed to use commands involving a specific NPC, such as player.moveto. I know very little about commands though, so take that with a grain of salt.

The wiki lists this as the form ID for the NCR emergency radio ranger: 0015FB77

Same, he was like "Here, here's a radio! Blah blah blah blee bloo blah!" So I was like "That's nice" and NEVER considered it again, in the 10 years I've played the game.

Both Trooper and Ranger, if they were dismissed... Run to you from camp McCarran. At least for me it was like this.

My Radio buddies are pretty strong. Light Machine Gunner can shred light armored enemies en masse, while Ranger can down more serious enemy with her fully modified Hunter Rifle. They work pretty great together.
