Report a translation problem
- Disable the bomb, and report it to grant. The sniper will miss his shot, and the engineer won't attack.
- Disable the bomb without reporting it, then kill the sniper. The engineer won't attack, thinking the bomb is still in place.
- Pickpocket the failsafe detonator from the engineer, and give it to grant. The engineer will be killed by a ranger, and the sniper won't get a chance to shoot.
In my experience the engineer won't try any thing after that, and even if he does the veteran rangers will kill him before reaching the president.
I mean, you meet him by listening to his speech.
But no interview or even one on one talk.
