Mmmmmm... if you're going to be reinstalling it, Tub, you'll find some of the stability and performance mods have been updated and improved. You're likely gonna need to update your Mods to latest versions. Aside from that it really depends on what "aesthetic" improvements you're looking for and making sure they don't chew up RAM.
My shortlist, for both stability and appearance would be -
NVAC - New Vegas Anti-Crash
New Vegas Tick Fix V9 Rev. 2
UIO – User Interface Organiser
YUP – Base Game and All DLC
NVSE 6_0_8
JIP LN NVSE Plugin
Johnny Guitar NVSE
Exploding Head Bugfix
FNV 4GB Patch
A mod manager, Fallout Mod Manager (FOMM Fork) Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) or Vortex, whatever floats ya boat.
More than three thousand hours in and still livin’ an’ lovin’ in the Wasteland…
As far as “Appearance” and playability mods go -
Realistic HDR Lighting NV
Dynamic Timescale
Mojave Delight
Mojave Delight Coolhair Replacer
Unlimited Companions, Unlimited Companions SCRIPT Fix and Unlimited Companions Fixed
Remote Control Companions
No extreme Female Hairstyles
Twice as fast VATS
Cheers,
T
