Heartache by the Numbers glitch?

Maybe I'm missing something obvious? I met Cass at the outpost forever ago, and she told me to talk to the Crimson Caravan for work. I finally made it to New Vegas, talked to the leader lady, and she told me to convince Cass to sell(?) the title to her caravan to CC. Problem is, when I return to talk to Cass, there's no option to say anything of the sort. I've got dialogue options for some other quest, where the laser weapon family in NV wants to "talk to her", but she says she won't come with me until she gets dismissed from her current job? So I can't get her title because of laser people dialogue, and I can't get her to come to laser people place because she still has her title? Am I missing something? How do I advance either of these 2 quests?
