How can I get the followers to help in the second battle of hoover dam in an NCR playthrough?

So I'm trying to get them to help out but I'm not sure how. I tried asking Julie but with no such luck. Any Ideas?

if i remember correctly you go to hidden valley and talk to them, if you already helped them out and did all their quests they should like you and would offer ncr their help.

There's no option to get the Followers to help at Hoover Dam, iirc. As far as I know, they only come up in the Yes Man quests, in which they can be asked to give aid to the region, but I don't think that actually affects anything in-game or in the ending slides.

on the wiki it says you can. I tried reading more about it, but it didn't tell me how I could get them to help me.

Can you link the page that mentions it? I can try to help you figure it out.

Nvm, I found it. It's odd that it's only mentioned briefly in the notes with no explanation of how or when to ask them for aid. Are you idolized with the Followers? And have you completed Friend of the Followers? Those are required to ask for their help in the Yes Man ending, so those may be requirements for aiding the NCR as well.

To have the Followers support the NCR in Fallout: New Vegas one will need to be idolized by the Followers, complete all of Julie Farkas' unmarked quests, and speak to Julie about supporting the NCR after completing You'll Know It When It Happens.
