How did the courier survive that shot to the head from Benny?
I don't think that can happen in real life?

I remember seeing this video of this dude sitting in a car with his two 'friends'. They were messing around with a gun and the girl shot this guy in the temple. I could have sworn he died then and there, but a few months afterward I saw a video of him recovering in a hospital. He slurred his words, and struggled to walk, but he was doing great progress. Gotta go check him out again see if he's doing better, considering how and where he got shot. Pretty amazing, honestly.

Edit: Found it, he can actually talk and stuff now

Its not the shot in the head that improbable. People survive those quite often.

The main concern should be oxygen depravity for an extended amount of time. Victor did not dig him out in 10 minutes, atleast. It took time to bury and leave the scene. Having no oxygen for that long causes irreversible brain damage.

But its Fallout - most over the top franchise alongside Resident Evil. So you should not really give to much thought to logic.

I'm not sure how well they buried 6. You can see the grave isn't deep at all. Probably wasn't a proper burial and just a light covering of dirt. Enough to hide the body for a while but not to keep it buried forever. It's very possible it was so shoddily done that there was enough space for air.

Possibly. But you must takr into account its not regular dirt, but desert sand etc. Its much more dense and has much lower air transition capabilities that your regular dirt ground.

But, sure. We dont really know what depth the grave was.

But yeah, in virtually all cases it's game over, which is why these people are famous.

Sometimes a bullet to the head zips around the inner surface of the skull, and doesn't do that much actual damage. Could happen with 9mm solid slugs.

Inspired by real life, the first issue of the 80s Question (aka Rorshach) comic ends with him being shot in the head and dumped in the river. That's the rationale for him surviving.

People in general have a very poor understanding of what kinds of damage the human body can survive.

i mean if you even if you shoot point blank at your head it can easily just ♥♥♥♥ up your face and have your brain missed wholely. Even in the case of being executed it very well couldve bounced off/around the players skull.Even if they got hit in the brain they got medical treatment pretty soon after anyways

Do you not remember that politician (or was it astronaut?) whose wife was shot in the head and survived?

It's also possible for a bullet to be lodged in the skull rather than piercing it.

Plus Mr.House had eyes on the Courier the whole time, as soon as Benny left Victor scooped him out.
