fallout new vegas gog issue
pardon for talking about a platform issue thats not steam but gog but. i bought fallout new vegas on gog and wanted to add mods for the gog platform. i basically using mod organizer 2 while downloading mods from nexus. i deleted my steam fnv files, i made a new profile for the fnv gog version on mod organizer and linked its directory. everytime i download a mod , it seems everything is downloaded and installed from the mod organizer when i do download and everything seems dandy but when i look in the fnv gog files i dont see of the mod files i downloaded and so its like it lied to me or having some weird error. does anyone know a solution for this? also yes i linked the website download to associate mod organizer to work with

The entire point of Mod Organiser 2 is that it doesn't actually touch the games data folder but instead creates a virtual data folder in which all the mods are installed.

If you launch the game (via mod organiser 2) and the mods aren't showing up then you have a problem but from what your saying it sounds like everything is working as intended.

ok thank u, though im not sure what to do for organizing plugins since i tried using loot and fnvedit to no success. do u know any alternatives?

You need to add Loot and FNVEdit to Mod Organiser.
In the top right corner there should be a dropdown menu like this.

Select 'Edit' and hit the little + which is the 'add executable' button, select 'add from file' and just go select the .exe for Loot, repeat for FNV Edit, and then you run them through Mod Organiser.
