Booted Quest Bug/Setstage command not working

Hiya, in my playthrough, the quest Booted seems to be bugged. Even when I save the Powder Gangers and clear the camp, the quest doesn't register as completed. I tried using the setstage command with the editor ID for the quest I found online, but even that doesn't work. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I like having a clean load order haha.

What was the command you used? You need to use the Form ID not the Editor ID.
The wiki mixes up the objectives with the stages, and sometimes the stages don't do anything, but in this case stage 30's script does everything needed to finish up the quest.

i have the same problem as this guy but its with "For the republic part 2" ive already done the great khan questline so now i cant get comple "for the republic" ive tried using setstage WMQ45 3 and restarting the quest but it just says "item not found for parameter quest". Do you know the problem?

I'll possibly need more info than that.
I think you need to set the VStoryEventKhans global for that one. It will accept the name for globals instead of the number.

This might be all you need with the correct value for their current state.
set VStoryEventKhans to
1 Joined NCR
2 Wiped out
3 Leaving
4 Planning a suicide attack

There is no WMQ45 or objective 3.
VMQ05 is "For the Republic, Part 2", which is 136166
VMS45 is "Oh My Papa", which is 140c3a

The quest is a bit of a buggy mess at that point.
Moore only uses these, and I'm really not sure if you'll need any other objectives or stages if these aren't displayed already and this doesn't work.

Visit the Great Khans in Red Rock Canyon and either enlist their aid or destroy them.
