2021 Update?

Did anyone else's NV update? Apparently mine did and I'm curious if this is Steam being weird or if this happened?

Maybe you should check your system then. Maybe the hard drive is missing files because parts of the drive breaks down. Small updates once in a while is not uncommon.

you can check the logs in folder
...\steam\logs
to find out exactly what was downloaded

you can use windows file explorer to search folders to see what files have been modified in the last day, week, month, year

no game files updates on my pc for this game or fallout 4. perhaps steam files or windows libraries were updated on your pcs? or steam not updating its files? clear the steam download cache.
steam settings -> downloads -> clear download cache

my new vegas is saying application not found. no idea how to update it. we are just getting internet back.
