Red Lucy Bleed me dry

I started the Bleed me Dry quest with Red Lucy and began gathering the eggs she wanted. However the quest is not showing up on my Pipboy. So I have no help with finding locations etc.
Is this a glitch or do I have to fight the animals to start the quest.

try talking to her again as she should tell u where to find the eggs

choose the "i'll find the mantis/scorpion/nightstalker/cazador/deathclaw eggs for you" option

Ok fellas, I got it, I had to go to my last save which was just before going down the manhole. It worked just fine once I did that. Thanks for all of the good suggestions.
