Energy weapons that go well with Gannon Family Tesla Armor?

Finding one that fits this https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/39873 retexture is a nightmare, there's barely any choice when it comes to energy weapons

Sure, there's the Gauss Rifle, but that thing is so huge and blocky that it obscures most of the screen! There's the Murdelizer from a mod as well but it makes an annoying humming sound and is really big and blocky as well
