Way to get back unique weapons?
Hello
I'am just wondering is there a way to get back a unique weapon I sold? I sold AER14 and realized I really want it now coz of the crits (and fancy color it shoots) but I sold it to some merchant, so can I get it back somehow without using the console commands?

oh ok, tnx.
reloading a previous save?

also some merchants keep items up to what was it 3 days (if you don't use the sleep function but instead the FFW function if not you got about 24 hours to get it back). so from 1-3 days, you got till then to get it back before their inventories reset.

Also i found out that maybe it's a glitch but theres a merchant with a brahmin in Novac in front of the motel that just stands there. His inventory doesn't get wiped or reset. I usually use him for selling cheap ♥♥♥♥ and storing stuff (he has limited caps i know but at the very least when i really need caps but maybe wanna buy back a weapon later down the line i use them. Almost like a bank with some interest accumulated.

I'll remember that if I ever start a new game so tyvm, but I went waaaay too deep into the game and realized later on I need AER laser rifle coz of laser/beam/energy dmg and crit build... Anyways, lets just say at least 200 in-game days past or something so much no shop has the stuff anymore xD I checked all of them. I tried to use console but I lose achivment progress then D: so I'll just use tribeam gra rifle

Open console with ~

type in player.additem 001479b3 x(x representing the amount you actually want) and hit enter.

This will place the AER14 Prototype in your inventory at maximum condition. Do note that using the console will cause achievements to be unobtainable for that playing session. If you still care for achievements, then spawn the item in your inventory. Save the game, and exit and relaunch it.

Imagine playing Fallout and thinking it's ok to sell a unique item.

they go for almost 4X minimum value of the regular counterpart

plus it depends. If you're just playing the base game or focusing on a specific build why hoarde all the unique weapons? Just keep the ones you do use and get rid of the rest. Spend the caps on other things.

Imagine thinking the way to play Fallout is to only collect items you'll actually use instead of hording it in your house and having them as trophies and decoration.
