You should also get Dead Money, the DLC are all worth it. You can play all of the DLC whenever you want in the main story. Except for Lonesome Road. You should play that when you're done all the other DLCs and are nearing the endgame. Generally I'd recommend: Dead Money/Honest Hearts>Honest Hearts/Dead Money> Old World Blues>Lonesome Road.

The order of release and story of them is Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road.
I usually play Honest Hearts at lvl 10 and and Dead Money when I return from that. Old World Blues at level 20 and Lonesome Road late into the end-game normally around the quest with the NCR President. In terms of experiencing the DLC story the best in my opinion is as follows. Honest Hearts should be first, then OWB, followed by Dead Money, and lastly Lonesome Road.

If you want to become really strong early and are fine with using unarmed weapons you could start OWB at level 8-10 and just kill a few human type enemies until one gives you some metal fist thing. Then go south on the map and search a nest for a toaster.

Speak to the toaster once you give it the personality holotape and you can get them to heat the fist which will make it do pretty high damage. This weapon is also pretty fast so you can just run at enemies and punch them to death.

The spoiler parts aren't really story related so much, pretty much just a way to get a really good weapon. If you do this you should try and up your unarmed skill anywhere past 25.

if you have not gone into the lucky 38 and not confronted benny i would suggest putting that off until after you have complete lonesome road as you can unlock 2 areas with pretty good loot in exchange for a large amount of infamy not going to say how because spoilers. aside from that honest hearts > dead money > owb and then finish it off with lonesome road.

I say do them when you want to (they don't tie into the main story), but in order from easiest (at low levels) to hardest they go Honest Hearts, Dead Money, OWB, Lonesome Road.

Don't forget to separate save before go in tho. Some of them will warn the player that the courier cannot come back until you beat the dlc.

I'd recommend you to start with the Honest Heart that give you a good couple of gear and will tell more about the lore and faction. The most easiest and can access pretty easy from Vegas.

Others like OWB DM and LR also can access whenever you want too but I'd recommend you to play OWB after HH. Then DM and LR.

OWB and DM will take off all of your gear when start the dlc. Player must complete the dlc to take back all your belongings and come back to Mojave.

LR is the only dlc that player come and go freely so you can go loot some powerful gear and head back to main game anytime.
