Fallout Character Overhaul crashes game on startup no matter what I do, is there a fix for this?

It breaks with most Mod Managers (Vortex in my case), I just chose to install it manually.

NMM sucks for that, and a host of other mods, if that's what you're using.

Already have loot and it says no mods are conflicting although I am using nexus mod manager

Whenever I installed it, whether checking to install it or not, the Russell plugin would be active and crash the game on startup, disable it if you don't use it. Worked for me.

You might need additional patches for FCO if you have other mods running. I used to have a similar issue too.

My best suggestion, get LOOT and run it clean up your ♥♥♥♥ and make sure no other mods are messing anything up.

I got it to work but inside everyones mouth is purple! What can I do to fix this?

You incorrectly installed the mouth textures.

You need to drag either the "clean" or "dirty" teeth into the mod folder.

Sorry for bringing up an old thread but this worked for me using Vortex. You can install the Russell plugin but then disable it via the plugins menu.

This hasn't worked for me, Whenever i download a new fasce model mod, My game crashes instantly i don't know what conflicts with the mod, I don't even have a mod that modfies the face textures, Can someone help me with this please? I really love this mod and nothing works.
