Even if they were from gear, negative effects would show up in the Pip-Boy.
Second, do you have any mods or have you used any console commands? I can't recall any vanilla perks with the potential to reduce attributes, but some in More Perks can, and it's possible some were bugged in the vanilla game that were sorted out with YUP, which you'd encounter if not using YUP.
You can use the console to fix this if we can't work out the cause. No need to start over.
IIRC, they do. For example, equip Power Armor and check your Pip-boy's Status tab, under "Special".
I do hasve mods but none of them affects attributes in any way. Besides without mods the problem still exists.
ie If I installed a mod that changed the bonuses of a Pre-War Parkstroller outfit to +1 Cha, and my character had been wearing a Pre-War Parkstroller outfit, then I would have a -1 Agi penalty (the original effect of the outfit).
This happened to me more than once.
Second, I told you to use a console command and see what results it printed, and you didn't mention that. That is the key to solving your problem. Not that I mean to get angry with you for ignoring that.
Third, not everything turns up in your Effects area anyway, though you should have a + or - sign next to the relevant attributes in your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. tab.
Fourth, that was largely in relation to bugged perks, as I stated.
Fifth, you may not know something affects attributes it affects if it's a mod, as mods can be made by anyone and can be dirty.
Now, again, open the console and type player.getavinfo followed by the name of the attribute you believe is lowered. Example:
1. I just answered the questions
2. I did nit notice that. English is my third language I can subconciously ingore something I cannot understand.
3. I have (-) signs against the lowered stats.
4. I have no perk affect stats.
5. I was playing with those mods till 17 llvl and the stats were okay.
6.I will do it as soon as I will get in the game again, thank you.
All the same, you're very welcome. Let me know what you see when you use that command, and let me warn you in advance not to use SetAV or ForceAV commands to fix this. You will most likely be using ModAV, unless we can determine the cause and fix it by doing something in the game rather than in the console.
Never use SetAV or ForceAV. Never.
