Sunglasses on side of face
I'll add screenshots if I can and throw up my mod list later, but for now I'll just say that sunglasses are hanging sideways from the ears of NPC's instead of wearing them normally. Is this a familiar mod problem for anybody?

NCR Overhaul Beta, when installing, let all other mods take priority over it

There's a flag that has to be manually set with FNVedit for any new headgear, else this happens.

I'm encountering the same issue, but the only mods that have file conflicts with the NCR overhaul are Caesar's New Regime and the NCR Overhaul Distributed addition which already overwrite the main trooper overhaul for me.

Sadly the video is only about hats and only with an abstract example mod. The NCR Trooper Overhaul doesn't seem to include any entries for glasses/sunglasses under armor.

The video is how you correct the issue. The NCR Overhaul overwrites the Authority Glasses but doesn't include the correct head flag as shown in the video. Just open the esp in FNVEdit, find an npc who has the glasses issue. Most likely they are wearing the authority glasses. Find the Authority Glasses and add the flag as the video says.
I know this is the issue because I just fixed it.

I thought that is how you normally wear sunglasses. You're telling me I've been wrong my WHOLE LIFE?

I'm confused by this video. What am I supposed to do to fix the problem?

I know I'm a little late but....
Open up your FNVEdit, check ALL packages to load, open FalloutNV.esm -> Armor -> Authority Glasses -> MODD - FaceGen Model Flags. You will see there is default value for FalloutNV.esm on the left and some other value(s) (or blank) on the right that overwrite it. Just drag and drop default value onto any other so that they are all identical to original. In my case it was YUP's fault

Thank you for breaking it down like this - I had seen the solution in the video and on the reddit thread but your instructions are the clearest and easiest to follow. Fixed the issue for me.

For anyone stumbling across this in future - JSUE also does the same thing, and has the same fix.

i believe that's an issue with the Jsawyer mod, had the same issue before so here's the fix: -install fnvedit
load all plugins
type 0011f881 in the FormID search box and click on the highlighted item(should be authority glasses)
drag [00]FalloutNV.esm on top of JsawyerUltimate.esp and click "yes i'm sure"
exit fnvedit and click ok after getting the prompt to save plugin edits

Of course you can do this to any mod that alters them(I.e NCR overhaul)

I have a similar issue with the reading glasses, and I want to know... Unlike Authority Glasses, which is under armor, why is reading glasses under hair?
