Eye Texture Bug and Pop-in Help
I'm almost done modding Fallout New Vegas. I've done everything the mod guide I was using asked. The game seems to be working well, but I do have two major problems. One, the lesser problem, pop-in. Things just pop-in too close. I've had building show up when I'm only a few-hundred feet away. Also, the crowning jewel of New Vegas, the Lucky 38, can't be seen across the entire Mojave anymore! Second, the bigger problem, eyes. Eye textures are messed up, it looks like some NPC's have two pupils, while others are completely normal. This might be a problem with FCO and NVR3. I've also tried downloading high-res eye texture mods, hoping they'd fix the problem by overwriting the FCO textures, but they didn't. Please help if you know how.

It's been a long-known issue with FCO. From what I see on google some had luck by installing FCO first then letting NVR3 overwrite FCO.

If that doesn't solve it maybe go into the FCO files and remove anything related to the eye textures.

As for your lesser problem seems like your draw distance is just set low. Check your menu settings in game.

I managed to fix the missing texture problem, but even by changing the settings the pop-in problem still stands. Does anyone know anything about .ini file editing? I suspect that will allow me to breach the max limit that you can't exceed normally in the settings.

The eye textures of FCO are bugged, when installing it don't click on the eye textures section

No, don't worry, I fixed eye textures. I just need to fix pop-in.

Go in the game settings and increase object draw distance

Like I said, those help but they don't increase it far enough. I need to do .ini file editing to exceed the max values that can be inserted in the game settings.

Regarding NVR, it's best to use Qwinn's Refined FNV Redesigned 3[www.nexusmods.com], which installs on top of FCO 2.3.1 and NVR3.

Try running FNVLODGen[www.nexusmods.com]. Be sure to follow the instructions in nexus.
