Need help with Mick and Ralph's passport situation...

I'm currently on my second playthrough of nv and I'm at the part where you need the passport from mick and ralph's. I have completed G.I. Blues and Aint Nothin But a Hound Dog for the king, and have become a member of the kings. But when I go to mick, or ralph, or whoever the guy is at the front desk, and ask if he has any special services, he just says that I need the king's "ok". I've litteraly joined the kings and everything but this piece of♥♥♥♥♥♥won't recognize it. Am I missing something? Because I REALLY don't want to have to drop 2,000 caps on a passport from one of those securitrons.

You have to cash in the favor you get from the King or pass a speech check with Ralph in order to get the passport

Actually he did that, he says he joined the Kings which is only possible by a favor, to get it from Ralph now you'll have to persuade him and then buy it.

So I'm guessing I just have to up my speech to 50 or what ever it was. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind when I level up.

The passport is a waste.
You don't need to pay the securitron 2000 caps, you only need to have 2000 caps in your inventory for them to allow you to pass.

This. I've never bothered with the passport. 2k caps and you're in, the caps aren't even spent to get you in.

Also you can buy the nightwear from mick for plus 10 speech

You don't spend a single cap to get in the strip .

Also if you're liked enough by the ncr you can take a monorail from camp macarran to the strip

if its glitched and you want a passport type player.additem 00115cd4 1 into the console. this willl disable acheivements until you quit to desktop and reload it but you'll get your passport
