Mod Limit Fix
Here it is true believers. The Mod Limit Fix has been overcome. his plugin fixes the Fallout New Vegas mod limit bug. It allows a maximum of 255 plugins to be loaded. It can also cause an increase in fps, remove game stutter and allow for faster loading times especially when using a large number of mods.

Enjoy!

Thanks. I've never hit that limit and i've used a fair few mods that change the game alot. But I like the idea of increasing fps and faster loading as i've noticed adding more does slow down loading a little.

Nothing like Fallout 4 though. At this point I gave up on trying to make loading times faster, and it's not my pc.

Always happy to bring the good word to fellow gamers. The only modding I ever did on Fallout 4 was add two weapons and that is it. They made modding seem a bit complicated for that title. However, with many of the mods I experiment with on NV, I am glad I can finally add those ones I want.

Is your FNV on an SSD?

I'm using ~200 mods and I saw a good improvement in loading times.

Regarding Fallout 4, loading times suck because they are limited by FPS. That's where Load Accelerator[www.nexusmods.com] comes in; it uncaps the FPS limit during loading screens.

Is there one for FNV?

No, my New Vegas loading times are fine even if mods make it a little slower. It's Fallout 4 where the loading times got horrible, half of it is the official patches I think. I haven't got a ssd drive.

I even tried that too. Loading times were fine when the game first come out and got worse as they updated it.

Not that i know of, but you should try some essential bugfixing mods, if you haven't already. Try the ones on this page https://vivanewvegas.github.io/utilities.html (This site is awesome).

Also, merging mods using zEdit (zMerge)[github.com] is often a good idea.

F4 load times get increased as your save file grows in size. What's the size of your save files?.
