Need Help With Powder Gangers at NCRCF

I took Goodsprings side against the Powder Gangers, and now I want to help the NCR take back the prison but apparently you need to help the Powder Gangers in order to unlock. Since you usually don't side with the person you plan on siding against I never considered it, so is there some other way to get the quest or are cheats my only hope at this point?

You can just take over the prison yourself by shooting them all. You won't exactly have the NCR retake it, but if you dont want to use console commands you can just pretend the NCR took it back.

More so, I want the guy on the radio to acknoledge it. He talks about the prison before hand, and he talked about it when I stopped the raid for the PGs. I'm fine with consol commands if necessary.

I just tried that, the guy outside the door still gets violent which makes the common PG around him violent. I even used tdetect so he wouldn't see me, but attempting to talk to Eddie causes him to become violent.

Well, you're probably stuck, unless you use console commands to reset their reputation (and even that might not work; conversation flags might be handled separately). This is a game where your decisions are meant to stick.

Me, i just would start over and not proceed the quest in goodsprings til you did the quests in the facility

I've made too much progress, already at the Hoover Dam section avoiding the endgame until I complete the NCR related side quests. I've also completed Camp Forlorn Hope, took out the assassination targets for Camp McCarren, and completed three of the DLC questlines. I can't exactly go back at this point.

Well in that case you have to read yourself into the world of console commands. I was not successful that way when I tried to get my infamy deleted with the PG, they still were hostile then. But I am sure somehow there is a way.

I tried that at one point too, ratheer than becoming idolized I just got the rep "Dark Hero" or something like that and the group I tried it with were still hostile. The only chance would be to get rid of rep with that group all together and start from square 1. If that's even possible.

Close, I got my reputation to be "Liked" but they still became hostile. I was near some PGs before I did that so maybe their remaining hostile caused it, if not than I'm not sure.

I returned to an older save, made myself idolized, and than went to the prison. They're still aggressive.

The only thing I could possibly think is maybe that completing Ghost Town Gunfight is coded to always have them hate you, even at Idolized Rep, but I don't think that's a thing. Ultimately I think you are just forced to wipe them out yourself and not have the radio acknowledge it, or maybe mess around in console with the quest stages to set the quest to the stage where you raid it with NCR, but i dont know how that'll play out.

No matter the reputation, they are still seeing you as an enemy. Try:

I had this problem but didn't do the quest. I got some Ganger armour, killed the guy at the door and then left. Waited a bit and went back and everything was fine. This was only to get the Sheriff though.
