You'll probably end up breaking your game if you try and use the console to fix your screw up. I doubt very much if you have any other choice but to go back to that earlier save you mention. And next time, remember that your actions in this game have consequences. Don't do things that you might end up regretting later on.
yeah ok thanks, I tried to skip to the point where Caesar was killed in the surgery but he was just there anyway and the quest was complete but nothing else had changed so I might have to use that save if i want to side with Caesar :(
Yes, of course they're dead wrong in their approach and their reasoning isn't even accurate, and there's more spoilers I'll avoid for people that haven't done it, but my point that they're not utterly simple is one worth making.
Agreed, New Vegas needed another year and it would have been a phnomenally superior experience. Moreover, probably wouldn't have been 32-bit? Actually, i think the original Skyrim was, so never mind. A 64-bit version of this game with better utilisation of multi-core CPUs would have allowed mods to do a hell of a lot more for us by now.
The things that make the Legion bad are things that they believe are necessary for the greater good, whereas the things that make the NCR bad are things that they do because they want more control. Or at least, it's like that to a degree. Different ranks in both factions have different reasons for doing what they do. I don't really want to leave spoilers here for people that aren't familiar with the Legion questline but not everyone involved in it does what they do for the same reasons, similar to the NCR questline. Anyone that's met Cæsar and Lanius and spoken to them knows they're not identical in the way they approach their affiliation with their faction.
I agree, they should have done more with the Legion, so that's not what I meant. If only they'd had more time.
