Yukichigai Unofficial Patch and base game only
Please help.
I am not clear with the descriptions in the Nexus page. It says there "Use only if you do not have one of the five main DLC" for the "YUP - Individual ESMs", so is that the one I should download if I only have the base game and no DLCs? Or does this unofficial patch requires every single DLC before I should even bother with it?

Yes, you'd want the "Individual ESMs" one. This should come with an individual file for the base game and each DLC, rather than packaging it all as one mod like the other download does. So, for your case, just activate the one for the base game and delete the rest (or hold onto them for when/if you get the DLC later).
