It could never be because you have no idea what you're doing. It's either the mod manager, Todd Howard, or a global conspiracy.
Basic Computer Knowledge and Basic Coding Knowledge are two very different things.
You can know your way around the entire operating system without a having single thought about making/editing programs.
But sure, just be an elitist ♥♥♥♥ about it.
Thanks for trying - apparently the weird fix for this specific game is to make a copy of Steam.exe and drop it in the FalloutNV folder. And it suddenly runs fine...
Yes, well as good of a game as FalloutNV is, I just can't deal with that item degradation system.
Or any item degradation system really...
I understand the weapons are technically 200 years old, but it's not like they've seen absolutely no maintenance in that time.
I'm working with vortex and this happened to me after installing a couple mods.
Didn't really find any answer but it worked when I did this:
settings -> vortex tab -> from per-user to shared -> restart vortex -> then back to Per-user
Now I can delete mods, deploy mods and everything else.
