Getting an unexplained -2 INT debuff? Any way to check why?
I've checked under effects in the pipboy (Where beer effects etc show up) and there is nothing lowering my intelligence, none of my perks are either, in fact, the debuff may be BIGGER than -2 because I'm already on the "early riser" perk which should be ADDING intelligence (can't tell the exact debuff cos its not showing anywhere).

I have no status effects lowering intelligence, stripped naked and still had the debuff. Starting to really get annoying.

Edit: Just remembered, I believe I'm getting skill debuffs too...

Of course. And telling me "it's the mods" isn't gonna be helpful.

I just used the cheat terminal to set my Intelligence back to what it was and that fixed the skill deficits too. Just can't get bonuses like early riser to do anything to modify that stat anymore. Not that it matters, was doing an Intelligence build and started with 10

Do you have a mod that adds effects to certain clothing? I had a mod that added a -1 charisma to powder hanger armors and once I took it off the -1 to charisma was still there. No effects in the pipboy or anything.

I don't believe I do.

Nope, that'd show in effects no? Even so, I tried using Fixer to see if the stats reverted while it was in effect, but nope.

Maybe you took the ''Four Eyes'' perk. Without glasses you lose -2INT, or -1PER, can't really recall. Worth checking anyways.

Nope, didn't, thought about taking it but didn't. And it's perception you gain/lose

I remember a bug I had a while back where the claustrophobia trait would fail to properly add and subtract stats when appropriate. I opened up my pipboy one day and checked my skills to find my science skill, (among many others), was almost maxed out despite never raising it at all and only being at level 6. I was confounded for a while and found out the claustrophobia trait was the culprit. I tested it some more to make sure. Sure enough, this time it was randomly subtracting from my stats on the same save. My special stats and many skills were way lower than they should have been. I don't know if you have the claustrophobia trait, but since the early riser trait works very similarly, it's possible it's the culprit here too. I've never used either traits again just to be safe.

Guess this could be possible, I don't have claustrophobia, but I do have early riser. Guess only way to know would be to not take it next time around and see if it happens.
