How do you fix Missing Meshes Red Triangle *Repost*
Hello everyone I am having this problem with my game where there is these big red triangles which I know are missing meshes but as I was reading some people says its from mods but the only mods I have in my game are NVSE NVAC 4GB Patch that is it and I have verified my game files. So is there a script to override it or a mod of so sort. I believe there is one for Fallout 3 and will it work for New Vegas. Thanks

try uninstalling/reinstalling the game.

Howdy Vent,
Before uninstalling and reinstalling (it's annoying) could you tell me are the missing meshes in the "Vanilla" game or do you have mods on your game?

If you have mods on the game (from nexus Mods I presume) then it is simply a case of that mod not installing properly.

This may happen if you manually install mods and use the "Play" button in Steam to launch the game, I would STRONGLY recommend that you install a mod manager (such as FOMM which is what I use) then use the "Package Manager" button in FOMM to install your mods.

However, be advised, that is not 100% guaranteed, there may be conflicts between mods that you have which are causing it.

I have NVSE installed FOMM (Fallout Mod Manager) but even I get missing meshes in Fallout 3.

What are you running and how do you launch?

I launch NVSE through FOMM always.
Cheers,
T

Sorry for not getting back sooner, and I took your comment into consideration and after did some more research on it. As I stated before I do not have any mods besides NVSE NVAC 4GB Patch. I am going to try reinstalling all of the mods with FOMM. There is a mod out there I which replaces the triangle with other texture I will put the link to this mod at the bottom. Where the triangles are on the ground inside buildings where there is rubble or on shelves. Not on weapons or on npcs.

Thanks a lot I will hope to get back to you with good news.

This is an other mod I found it removes the triangle than replaces it. It works for New Vegas I am going to try this I hope for the best.

Howdy Vent,
No need to apologise my friend, we all have lives to deal with...

I'm going to try the links/mods you suggested in Fo3 and see if I can get rid of the triangles in Rivet City, thanks back... :steamhappy:
Cheers,
T

This is possibly the stupidest mod I've ever seen.

Would you really want to walk an IRL wasteland and find a random red triangle out of nowhere after you kill someone?

I would rather fix my game than play a broken mess.
