Independent is the cop-out "generic" ending, where it's more or less whatever you roleplay because games have to be "morally gray" because reasons.
though if you are going meat of champions for the lols. I guess its an option.
so the only two real options are House and NCR in this poll.
In the situation at hand I kinda feel if House holds the region, NCR will be persuaded to invest in infrastructure like roads so it can get supplies here, and take out House's robots with EMP, while letting House break the Legion's offense in the meantime while it prepares. Legion being unlikely to be able to acquire EMP.
so the choices are mainly NCR now or NCR in 20 years.
and I think the current Mojave requires far better infrastructure before NCR can own it, the Monorail being a key example. if they had transit like roads or trains then I'd totally give the region to the NCR. but until they have such materials, I feel the region is better managed locally.
