NCR fame bug?

So im idolized by the NCR, they ask me go kill all bos in bunker, i do that, i go back to dam to the questgiver and in secs i go from idolized to shunned with the NCR?? (soz for my bad engish)

are you in faction armor that resets your reputation, because you cannot go from idolized to shunned

the NV general reputation chart goes as follows

neutral accepted liked idolized
shunned mixed smiling troublemaker good-natured rascal
hated sneering punk unpredictable dark hero
vilified merciful thug soft hearted devil wild child

and without faction armor, you can only move down and to the right (basically, you can only gain good or bad reputation (fame and infamy), you will never lose reputation unless faction armor resets it). for example, wearing BOS power armor will reset your NCR fame to 0 (Temporarily, until you take off the armor) and moving around the NCR will cause them to shoot at you (if they still have a kill on sight order for BOS), which will cause your companions to shoot back, causing you to lose reputation.

I was and always am in NCR faction gear (ranger) (this playtro at least) i go in the bos bunker idolized with the ncr, i gather bos weps and armour (never wear them only to sell later) by the time im out of the bunker (all bos dead) my rep suddenly has changed to neutral and by the time i get to the questgiver at the dam my NCR rep changes to shunned (i never do anything that would hurt that rep with the NCR tho)

The only thing i can think of is i gave boon some faction bos gear so i could carry/sell more and he wear the helmet (he did it auto), it has to b that then but that would b lame.

Then I have no idea. Unless you have a mod that changes how reputation works, it should be impossible to lose fame permanently (esp if you are in NCR faction armor all the time).

So i found out what is causing the rep drop,

I have taken off the ncr gear to enter the bunker so i can hack the turrets (bypass the gaurd that slowly walks towards me and skip the explosive collar thing)

update1;

So i am idolized with ncr in ncr gear, i take the gear off im still idolized, from the moment i put back on the ncr faction gear it puts me back in neutral rep with the ncr and moments later i am shunned and boon leaves without me doing bad action against ncr.

update2;

So now i killed all bos naked (with no gear) and quest complete, i go outside bunker still idolized with ncr, i go to ncr safehouse to change gear to ncr faction gear (ranger) i put the gear on i am still idolized with ncr, i save, i relogg and im neutral, guess its gg game...
