Character consumes enough food and water to feed an army, and guess what, said supplies are nonexistent. Yet somehow the Mojave magically endures with NOT ONE DROP OF WATER, proving the developer reflected his own copious need of food. Even cannibalism has limits.

A single 22. rimfire graze pulverizes every limb and kills you. ♥♥♥♥♥, 22. rimfire is for killing tiny rabbits. Now a magnum blast to chest is plausible, but we'll keep at that. Of course to you everything is an assault rifle...pfft... He probably got slapped on back and died from pain IRL.

killing people in a setting like this reduces sanity. In that world, killing people is a mercy, and a way to survive. Everyone is a cannibal monster, so what's wrong?

It sure didn't turn out to be. I don't mind the hardcore mod and all but there is a realistic chance at fun and logic. Spending half an hour to gank an entire armed camp with thrown spears and looting less than 8 rounds and rifles which can't fire more than 10 times to shatter from the "well supplied and ammo rich survivalists" is simply an insult to the downloader. Oh, the spears can't be recovered either.

Sure i didn't pay. But there is a limit to cockiness and insults concealed as a free game.

Also if it's called hardcore it is not going to be fun you ♥♥♥♥. I seriously do not get you. You first play a game to have fun, and then you play it to pull your eyes out, an example for me is metro last light redux.

ok what? At least hard work could be rewarded. Nothing bad with ambushing a supply rich survivor and stealing a ton of items, it adds to the Hobbesian struggle.

In metro last light on the 2 hardest settings you almost get one shot every time and have to shoot about 10 bullets at least to kill someone. You get no ammo for any of the 2 guns you can carry, and even if you do you have no hud so you can't actually check anything: ammo, health, consumables, carrying items.

Yeah, you should rename this thread to: I am ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥/any slur you put in the title.

thats part of the mod (atleast in my playthroughs of it) the first couplt times you learn what type of thing should be avoided/what should be engaged. what places to go etc.

From what I read Dust is supposed to be hard, so, I guess it is.

Also aren't there adjustments you can make to it, like more loot, less Tunnelers, etc.?

Someone got hurt in the fee-fees, oh no.

The one drop of water part is especially amusing considering there's quite a few spots with infinite rad-less water. Weapon durability exaggerated probably due to blind rage. Loot? Debatable. Maybe trash RNG.

Sanity is a gameplay mechanic, deal it or leave it. Its not like you're forced to be sane. If you want to, put the legwork in. Download the recommended knockout mod. Or use the meds, they're not that scarce.

Same goes for gun damage, its a GAME, not a simulator. If anything, it helps use less ammo per kill. Unless you can't even hit a barn.

Stop whining, maybe read the description next time.
