The radio is indeed useless if you won't use it, and tbh gives you gear that will probably be inferior to what you already have. I would be surprised if there wasn't a mod to remove it

Speaking as someone who dislikes unneeded items due to how much inventory management he does...what's the point of complaining? The radio takes up a single space in the Aid menu, and the Mark is in a tab you don't ever need to go in anyway outside of checking crafting materials. Hell, AWOP causes more complaints since the tapes for one of the sidequests don't actually get removed from your inventory, and there are nine of them.

Actually:
Simp is a slang insult for usually men who are seen as too attentive and submissive to women, especially out of a failed hope of winning some entitled sexual attention or activity from them. ... The word simp is meant to troll young men for doing anything for a girl to get some action he supposedly deserves.
There can also be female simps to attractive men, but they're much less talked about.
