Is there any way to bypass the name limit?

I want to give my character a name that includes a nickname of sorts, but I can't find any way to get around the character name limit. Any advice?

Highly unlikely. The name limitations are there because of the save file naming conventions. If the limit is disabled or more characters are added, such as quotations and other symbols, the saves either become unreadable or corrupt from the get-go. Basically if there is a mod that changes it would have to change the save file structure, which I wouldn't trust.

You could try find some kind of setting in the .ini files related to names, something like "maxcharacters" or something. But I don't think that that kind of line exists.
