New California Scientist or Warrior?
Does anyone know if:

1) this choice changes the game at all besides your starting area?
2) warrior perk includes all weapons or just muscle-powered?
3) the Scientist perk applies when you move to NV or how many skill books are in NC

1) The warrior path allows you to do the enclave path and recruit johnny.

The science path makes it so you can recruit ALPHA and makes it so you can hack into tier 3 and 4 of maria.

Both paths have differing perks and sidequests and some characters react to you differently.

2. I think its for all weapons but born soldier 1 2 and 3 are all for guns I think.

3. It should carry over to when you move to NV and I don't know how many skill books are in NC but there are some in braggs office a ♥♥♥♥ ton of deans electronics in the cave you go to in the main quest and a couple hidden around the vault.

There's a lot of forced combat encounters and from what I'm seeing now if you don't spec hard into Science early you're useless as a Scientist and too weak to do much fighting yourself.

You can pick scientist and skill choose to focus on combat skills and you can get the pulse gun early on and its really good. Also you can complete the combat encounters without doing much combat yourself.
