New California Prologue science skill too low?
I chose the science path and am not able to advance on any of the prologue quests because I am under 50 science skill (49 currently). 50 skill points seems a really high barrier to lock players out of intro content without any sort of warning - I'm assuming there is some way around this for the prologue missions?

The mod locks you out of content like a classic rpg.

Don't see the problem. Just do multiple playthroughs.

There are books in the robot maintenance room to help give you a +8 boost to science.

Where is the robot maintenance room located on the vault 18 map? I see a 'Maintenance' room listed in section T but can't figure out how to get to it.

Yes, its called going to bed. Or looking around for any of the numerous things that will increase your Science skill.
Science books and magazines, vault lab coat, just going to bed, ect.

This really is awful, plainly put. They want to make a fallout expansion but immediately, and I mean, within 10 minutes, they put unsolvable puzzles that depend on character build right in the way of the starting quests, with no marker for where the bed is, as if you aren't intended to do that.

Alt-F4'd. If these designers can't take their gameplay seriously I can't be arsed with this trash. Embarrassing on a level that exceeds even that of the original Bethesda flaws. I could see this further on in the game, but smack in the middle of the tutorial? In a world that PLAINLY all loot has been removed from (none in sight anywhere) because it's the TUTORIAL?

What the hell were they intending to communicate by this? Lazy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ design.
