Legate Lanius
If you went for any ending besides the Caesar's Legion ending and kill Legate Lanius inside the fort via a killing spree, what happens at the climax of the Hoover Dam battle, where you'd normally see him?

What if you went through with the Legion ending at first then swapped to the Independent ending?

Thanks for the response though.

There is no way to gain access to Lanius' camp until the very very very end of the game. Even if you go with the Caesar route, you don't arrive at Lanius' camp until you get that "this is going to end the game" popup, at which point you cannot relapse to Yes Man.

There's a rubicon of sorts with every faction option. Past a certain point in their quest progression you're pretty much locked in.

I always thought that you could revert to Yes Man in the event you accidentally screwed yourself over with the Legion, like you accidentally short Caesar and a companion killed them so you classified as a terrorist to the faction.

Okay, that answers my question, thank you!

I haven't done a legion ending yet, and the character that's working on one just arrived in Novac.

You can, but by the time you meet lanius, you're past the point of no return. There is no killing the legion and being classified as a terrorist by then.

It's a lot of fun, esp. if you've built a character that can exploit a TRE.

Its just like General Oliver or House when the game ends, no way to kill em.

Also, be sure to go no-gun for the Legion route. Both unarmed and melee are good fun.
